My son decided he wanted to learn the trumpet at age 9. Not knowing how to get him lessons, I searched it and found Lessons in Your Home. I was paired quickly with someone and signed up for 1 month of 30 minute lessons. The teacher, Jorge, is absolutely phenomenal. He is patient, encouraging and always on time. I recommend this service highly. We are in the 3rd month and my son loves it and is improving quickly.read more

My experience with Lessons in Your Home has been wonderful. Carolyn has been a good piano teacher for my 5 year old. She makes the lessons fun, and does a great job keeping her interested and and focused. She is a very positive person with my daughter and with me as a mom as well. In just a few short lessons, I have seen her develop her skills incredibly. My daughter is loving her piano lessons, and looks forward to working with Carolyn.read more

I contacted Lessons in Your Home after my 5 year old daughter expressed interest in playing the violin. Jolanda, the director of the program, paired us with Kevin. He has been fantastic. He is patient, motivating and has a clear passion for music and teaching. I also really like that the program has two annual recitals, which give students the opportunity to perform and showcase what they've learned. My daughter has participated in one recital so far and it was very well done.read more

Vladamir teaches our three very strong willed children! They give him a run for his money and he always knows how to redirect and get them back to enjoying and learning music. He did an excellent job with the video for their virtual concert and always goes above and beyond.read more

Yalyen teaches my 7 yr old daughter Violin. She is kind, extremely knowledgeable, patient and an excellent teacher. My daughter is learning how to play, read and write music. She looks forward to her weekly violin lesson with Yalyen. We are very happy!read more

Carolyn Smith is an excellent piano teacher! I wish my piano lessons (30+ years ago) had been with a teacher like Carolyn. We started lessons during the shutdown to have some musical / creative stimulation for my 14 year old daughter. Carolyn is patient and knowledgeable. She has been flexible to find music that my daughter likes. My daughter also plays two other instruments but I feel that her piano lessons will give her a great foundation for musical knowledge in general.read more

They were very punctual. The instructor paid total attention to my child from the second the lesson started to the time that they were about to leave. My child loved every second of it. They laughed they played and they learn music. Definitely using the service again.read more
