About Jorge Soler

Jorge Soler's musical journey has been a roller coaster, from schools, classrooms, instruments, teachers, today-famous-ex-classmates, prestigious singers, theaters and countries.
Coming from a family of musicians, Jorge, before attending Music classes, was surrounded by musicians. Jorge Soler was born in Cuba and at the age of 28, he came to U.S.A.

Mr. Soler studied Music in Havana, Cuba, from the age of 9 to 19 years old and attended three music institutions: "Alejandro Garcia Caturla Conservatory", "Amadeo Roldan Conservatory" and "National School of Arts". His curriculum is extensive:
Bass (professor, Carlos Del Puerto).
Piano (professor, Maria Antonieta Enriquez).
Trumpet (professor, Marcos Urbay).

Jorge performed in Cuba with many prolific artist , such as :
"Nicolas Reynoso's Group" (Jazz). "Los Bucaneros" (Latin Rock). "Orquesta Cubana de Musica Moderna" (Standard International Music). Orquesta E.G.R.E.M. (National Recording Studios).

Jorge's career in the U.S.A. has been a skyrocket. He played and toured the World with very famous singers in the latin market, such as: Jose Luis Rodriguez "El Puma", Jose Jose, Willy Chirino, Lola Flores, Celia Cruz, Rocio Jurado, Rocio Durcal, Raphael, Mocedades and Roberto Carlos, among others.

Mr. Soler enjoys teaching students of all ages. He knows that with the solid structure of LIYH and his vast experience as a player he will pass his "on-the field-knowledge" to his students.
He wants to see his "rollercoaster journey" repeated in each of his students.
