About Zorica Pavlovic

Zorica Pavlovi is a graduate of Eastman School of Music with MM in voice performance and literature where she studied with mezzo-soprano Kathryn Cowdrick. She received her Bachelor of Music degree from Georgia State University. Ms. Pavlovi has performed with number of organizations including Atlanta Opera, Atlanta Camerata, New Trinity Baroque, Christ Church Schola Cantorum in Rochester, and Rochester Chamber Orchestra. A great lover of early music, Ms. Pavlovi was also featured as a soloist at Piccolo Spoleto Festival, Amherst Early Music Festival, and Queens College Baroque Opera Summer Workshop. Some of the roles recently performed include Dorinda in Orlando, Eurydice in Rossi's Orfeo, and Diane in La Diane De Fontaineblau. She is a 2013 finalist of Friends of Eastman Opera Vocal Competition as well as the recipient of their Student Opportunity Grant.

She believes that every student can be their best by finding enjoyment in music and she works on giving her students tools to do just that. Her approach to lessons consists of incorporating playing the instrument, learning theory, as well as performance techniques while at the same time finding ways to have fun learning.
