About Vanessa Randin
Vanessa began her violin study with the Suzuki method at the age of 6. She continued to play with her grade school and then with her high school in Illinois. Growing up, she had to face many changes and challenges that were difficult to handle. This was when she realized her deep connection with music.
Her violin was her escape and medicine. Most evenings she would practice, which brought her mind to a tranquil place. In high school, she was awarded the most improved award her sophomore year. She kept up her practice and flow, and then her senior year, was awarded the directors award. She carried on to Roosevelt University Chicago, where she then focused on performing at weddings. Not only is she focused on music, but also is now an artist of many mediums.
Passionate about the performing arts, she knows the importance of practice and self expression. Vanessa is excited to connect with those wanting to have this ability. Ready to share her knowledge on the fundamentals of creating music and the basics of reading music, she hopes to help her students discover their hidden dreams. Vanessa believes in teaching through building confidence and connecting with her students. She believes that music has the power to heal and help us to understand ourselves and each other.
