About Vanessa Estaniel
Born and raised in the Philippines, soprano, Vanessa Estaniel began her classical piano training at the age of 3 and voice training at 6 years old. She currently studies Vocal Performance at Shenandoah Conservatory.
Vanessa is a regular performer at the Old Town Winchester Walking Mall, a professional choral singer at Grace Episcopal Church, Berryville, VA, and the pianist, guitarist, (sometimes a drummer), at her local church.
Her stand-out performances include Christ Church Cathedral in Oxford, England and the Annual Cherry Blossom Festival in Washington, D.C. (2018 and 2019). Vanessa has also headlined concerts at Jammin' Java in Vienna, VA, and Epicure Cafe in Fairfax, VA. Additionally, she has participated in community theater companies around Northern Virginia.
With her dedication and passion for the musical arts, her piano background, and wide range of vocal expertise, Vanessa's mission is to inspire her students to love and enjoy their musical gifts and become wise musicians. Vanessa emphasizes good fundamentals with all her students and enjoys helping them find their unique interests within the musical world. She also believes that studying music sharpens problem-solving skills and has real-world applications.
