About Torry Brockert

Torry is an orchestral and marching arts enthusiast. With a strong background in brass, percussion and vocal performance, Torry spent 11 years in both the Madison Scouts and Americanos Drum and Bugle Corps, in addition to participating in numerous community ensembles. While attending Monona Grove High School and Normandale Community College, Torry completed studies in tenor and baritone voice, as well as violin, piano, concert and marching percussion, alto horn, mellophone, trumpet, and French horn. Torry also has a strong background in music theory, ear training, and music history.

Currently a member of the Mile High Community Band horn section, Torry looks forward to matriculating at Metropolitan State University of Denver in the Fall, where he will compete his music education studies.
