About Tanyah Anderson
Tanyah Hope Anderson, Mezzo-Soprano/Mixed Belter, earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Musical Theatre at Shorter University and recently completed an acting internship at Actor's Express. In addition, she attended and studied voice and theatre at Cobb County Center For Excellence in The Performing Arts at Pebblebrook High School. She has professionally worked at regional theatre such as Mcleod Summer Playhouse, Actor's Express, and Georgia Theatre Ensemble. Some of her previous credits include; Dynamite (Hairspray), Irene (Downstairs), Helen u/s (Funhome), Squeak (The Color Purple Concert), and more.
Tanyah enjoys working with students who are just as passionate about singing as she is and the unique thing about her style is figuring out the specific needs for each of them. Whether it's prepping a student for professional or community auditions, helping them discover their mixed voice, building a repertoire, or telling a story through developing a character, Tanyah is ready to bring out the best of her students and have fun doing it.
