About Shane Perryman
In the pursuit of excellence and creativity, Shane Perryman has established himself as a top notch musician, composer, and arranger in Atlanta. At age five, he began learning bass guitar, and by his junior year in high school, he was playing trombone, piano, and bass professionally throughout Georgia. During his formative years, Shane was chosen to perform with the GMEA All-State Band, GMEA All-State Jazz Band, and the Georgia Governor's Honors Program. Since then, Shane has gone on to arrange and play for artists around the country.
In this day and age, professionalism and versatility are keys to a successful career. Shane has made it a point to cement these characteristics in all mediums of his work. As an educator, he implements his experience and flexibility in order to get the most out of his students. His process has been carefully crafted through teaching private students, as well as students in the Rialto Youth Jazz Orchestra and Georgia State University Jazz Camp. By encouraging the concepts of persistence and focus, Shane knows that music education will enrich students lives in all aspects.
Outside of music, Shane does stand-up (comedy) and is an avid chess player. He is driven to reach the highest caliber in all of his passions, but at the end of the day, just loves life.
