About Scott Le Roy

Scott Le Roy has been a dedicated percussionist for over 12 years. With
a degree from the University of North Texas, Scott has had the honor of
teaching the Creekview High School Band Drumline, the McKinney Boyd
Band Drumline and the University of Texas at Arlington Leadership
Drumline. During his percussion career, he has been taught from such
established instructors as Paul Rennick, Mark Ford, Daniel Darrah, Jim
Ragsdale, Dustin Schulze, Bryan Wright and Nathaniel Neugent. He is
an avid drum set player, playing for multiple ensembles in the jazz
department and studied african ensemble and steel drum music at the
UNT School of Music. He has had the honor of being chosen to perform
for the Candlelight Processional Orchestra at Epcot and the Kitchen Beat
Drummers in Tokyo Disney. With a knack for rhythm, Scott has kept his
fun yet dedicated teaching style alive and well through interactive and
innovating lessons with the McKinney and Carrollton-Farmers Branch
Independent School District.

With over seven years of drumline experience, twelve years of
percussion courses, six years of jazz drum set and two years of private
lesson teaching, Scott is a dynamic performer and experienced
instructor.
