About Rose Michel
Born in Port-au-Prince Haiti, Rose Nadine Michel showed great musical abilities at an early age. She joined the Sainte Trinite Music program at the age of 7, and later joined the Orchestre Philarmonique Sainte Trinite, the premiere Youth orchestra in Port-au-Prince, Haiti. After her primary and secondary studies at the prestigious Nouveau College Bird, Ms. Michel emigrated to the US to further her musical studies.
At Miami Dade College/Wolfson, she studied voice with Amy Ibberson and Elena Carreira. Ms. Michel graduated from Judson University in Illinois with a degree in Voice Performance and Music Education. At Judson, she impressed her teachers, and excelled in her study of voice with Josh Jones.
Rose Nadine Michel is an emerging artist with exceptional talent. A pure lyrical soprano and superb musician, she performs vocal works with great charm and grace. A perfectionist, she shows her commitment to excellence by continuously polishing her craft. Ms. Michel is also a remarkable teacher encouraging young artists to reach their very best.
Ms. Michel served as the Associate Music Director of the String Quartet and Choir of the Haitian Evangelical Baptist Church of Miami, and later on became the Music and Choir Director until 2010. She also taught Music at the International School of Broward and us currently the Choir Assistant Director at the Redemption Baptist Church of Pompano.
