About Radjeanny Bouzi
Radjeanny Bouzi is a performing violinist who was born and raised in Miami Florida, and later on moved up to Orlando Florida to continue her studies at the University of Central Florida. She majored in Health Sciences and minored in Music, and she aspires to incorporate both music and medicine in her life and the lives of others. She was introduced to the violin at the age of 4 and while taking private lessons, she went to art schools to enhance her craft: she attended Miami Arts Charter, New World School of the Arts, and joined the magnet program at Dr. Michael Krop Senior High School becoming concert master all 4 years of high school. She also participated in All-State Orchestra during middle school and high school, side-by-side orchestras with Miami Dade College and Florida Atlantic University, and was a member of the South Florida Youth Symphony.
During her high school career, Bouzi volunteered at Harmony School of Art and Music, and when the owner moved to another state, they passed down a few students who were still interested in taking lessons. She had around 7 students, 5 violin students and 2 piano students, and every week she learned to become a better teacher by understanding that not every student is the same even though they all play the same instrument, and to teach each student at their own pace.
To increase her knowledge in music, she went on to pursue a minor in music and participated in the symphony orchestra at the University of Central Florida. She performed as a special guest for FACES organization fashion show, was a guest player alongside the Gospel and Cultural choir, performed for a plethora of weddings, and on occasion attend open mics to showcase her talent. To further her love for playing the violin, she created a YouTube channel (GenieontheStrings) performing covers of popular songs and even went on to play some of those songs at the Hollywood Walk of Fame. She longs to share her passion for and expertise in performing and playing the violin with others who want to pursue the art of music and performing.
