About Quennie Ann Moreno
Quennie Ann Moreno acquired a Bachelors degree in Music Education and a Diploma in Creative Performing Musical Arts at the University of the Philippines. Her primary instrument of study was piano, and her secondary instrument was voice.
Through her 10+ years of teaching experience, Quennie has taught private piano and voice to a wide variety of students ranging in skill level and age. She was also a music and movement instructor for very young children (under age 4). In lessons, Quennie customizes the curriculum to the student through a combination of standard, traditional methods and fun songs that the student enjoys. She enjoys teaching all styles of music as well: everything from standard classical repertoire to current pop songs.
Quennie's goal is to instill a sense of music appreciation, while at the same time teaching students about the technical aspects of music. Furthermore, she strives to expand students' interest by incorporating a wide range of activities, integrating multi-cultural lessons and cooperative learning projects. By utilizing these effective methods, she is able to reach out to each student, introduce new concepts, foster a fun-learning environment, and help students blossom into well-rounded individuals.
