Patricia Min passion for music started at age six, when she began taking piano lessons. As a teen, Ms. Min dedicated most of her time practicing classical piano and began competing locally around the DMV area. Ms. Min has received 1st place in Virginia's MTNA Composer Competition, and an Honorable Mention in the Loudoun Excellence in the Arts Competition in 2008. She also got the privilege to go to the Virginia's Summer Residential Governor's School for piano in 2008.

Ms. Min studied her Bachelors in Music Performance at University of North Carolina - Greensboro under the tutelage of Dr. John Salmon and Dr. Andrew Willis, where she was also a tutor for Class Piano and has had many teaching and performance opportunities. She was accepted and attended the Brevard Music Festival in Asheville, NC (2012) and studied with Olga Radosaljevich at the Cleveland Institute of Music during the summer of 2011. In 2012, Ms. Min joined Music Teachers National Association (MTNA) Collegiate Chapter at UNCG. In 2015, Ms. Min graduated from Syracuse University with her Masters in Music Performance under the tutelage of Steven Heyman. While Ms. Min was pursing her masters, she was an instructor for the credited Undergraduate Class Group Piano course and private piano lessons. Ms. Min was a winner in the Syracuse Concerto Competition and debuted as a solo pianist with the Syracuse Symphony Orchestra under the direction of Genevieve LeClair, Assistant Conductor of the Boston Ballet Orchestra.

Ms. Min's studies have exposed her to variety of genres from baroque to contemporary music. Some of her favorite composers are Bach, Mozart, Chopin, Brahms, Liszt, and Muczynski. She has spent many years teaching beginner piano to children as young as 5 years old and adults, as well as intermediate and advanced classical piano. Throughout her musical training and teaching experiences, Ms. Min has been provided the best tools and materials to share to her students. She has worked with all different teaching methods, from basic method books like Faber and Faber, Alfred, and Bastien to varying different repertoire and exercise books such as Hanon and Czerny. Ms. Min continues to explore new methods of teaching to tailor to each student's needs.

Ms. Min's love and passion for teaching music has been greatly enhanced by the experience she has gained as both a student and a teacher. Ms. Min believes in creating a safe and enthusiastic environment for her students to find their expression to create their own style of music. Ms. Min believes that every student is different, and believes that working together with the student and building a personal relationship will not only improve their musicianship and love of music but can adapt the lessons learned into the student's daily life.
