About Nick DeLosSantos
Mr. De Los Santos started playing the piano and violin around the age of 11. Taking what he had learned through playing the violin in orchestra throughout middle and high school, he taught himself how to play the piano until he entered college ,and has been in love with it ever since. Earning his Bachelor's of Musical Arts degree from Pacific Lutheran University in December 2019, he had the chance to study with various world class musicians including, Dr. Jane Harty, Dr. Oksana Ezhokina, Dr. Gregory Youtz, Dr. Lark Powers, Dr. Ricardo de la Torre, and many more. While his studies were primarily focused on piano, he also was a member of the University Symphony Orchestra for 2 years as a violinist performing incredible works such as Shostakovitch's Symphony No. 5, and premiered various works from contemporary composers.
As a seasoned performer in the beautiful Lagerquist concert hall, Mr. De Los Santos has been praised for his sensitive and expressive musical ability. While having a deep love of classical music, he has studied and performed music from many different genres and many different composers from around the world including the esteemed Federico Mompou. He also enjoys playing chamber music, and collaborating with other musicians.
Mr. De Los Santos has an unending thirst for knowledge, a passion for piano, and believes in a holistic approach to music. Anyone anywhere at any age and any ability, music is for all whether listening or playing, or whether performing for a packed crowd or at home for pleasure.
