About Nathan Prisk
Nathan Prisk grew up in Oak Harbor, Washington. When he began studying piano at the age of 7, he quickly developed a love for music and discovered that the piano was going to be a big part of the rest of his life. He continued his studies through college, where he received the Spivey Foundation Music Scholarship at Clayton State University in Morrow, Georgia. His teachers have included Vernon Greenstreet, Daisy Jaffe and Dr. Michiko Otaki.
While in high school, Nathan began singing with several groups and as a soloist for state and national competitions. He decided to pursue his vocal studies while at Clayton State University and received a BA in Music with a vocal proficiency. In 2004, he traveled with the Capitol City Opera Company from Atlanta, performing the role of Guglielmo in Mozart's Cosi fan tutte, and he currently travels with The Daybreak Quartet, performing over 75 concerts each year across the country and throughout the world. His goal is to inspire his students to build the right foundation, develop correct technique and discover their niche. Classical, country, gospel, jazz, standards, music theatre, and opera are all styles that he loves to explore and develop with his students.
