About Lucian Williams
Lucian is a solo entertainer with an unusually wide ranging repertoire because of his versatility on guitar, piano, and vocals. Being an accomplished arranger with a vast library of charts, also allows him to lead a ten piece orchestra as competently as a trio or quartet.
Taking private lessons from George Benson as a teenager prepared Lucian for an extensive musical career. After studying arranging at Berklee College of Music in Boston, Lucian held a faculty position at the Hartford Conservatory. He has performed extensively in New York, Chicago, Cape Cod and Florida.
It is Lucian's goal to make lessons as comfortable and enjoyable as possible while at the same time challenging students and making the learning experience interesting. His lessons are built around the individual's interests (specific songs or styles) and tailored to learning the technical fundamentals in a context they can relate to.
