About Leigh Toltz

At the age of 14, Leigh began her singing career in musical theater through local community theater in Denver, Colorado. She channeled her passion and years of performing experience to earn a Master's of Music degree in Vocal Performance and Vocal Pedagogy at New York University. There, she began her teaching career as an adjunct professor of voice at NYU.

Expert in the anatomy and mechanics of voice, Leigh brings a technical approach to vocal production. She develops singers ranging from beginner to professional levels. Though specializing in musical theater, Leigh leverages classical technique and repertoire to help every singer grow in confidence and ability. Her students learn not only to master vocal techniques but explore the dramatic circumstances to bring musical selections to life.

Leigh personalizes every lesson to help each singer discover their own unique, authentic sound. She imparts a strong foundation in vocal technique, which enhances her students' performances, personal expression, and confidence in everyday life. Over time, Leigh's students develop efficient vocal production, singing and speaking that feels easy, organic, and natural. Her voice lessons build a strong foundation that releases singers from vocal strain and manipulation and truly frees their voices. Leigh invites self-expression in all genres of music. In her studio, she works with students toward sustainable, expressive, genre-diverse, and healthy vocal expression through the world of music.
