About Kassy Eugene

Kassy Eugene is a local Operatic Vocalist that has received numerous certificates and rewards throughout the nation and internationally. Kassy's vocal talent was revealed at the tender age of 4 years old when she began singing at Homestead Evangelical Baptist Church Children's choir.

As she matured, her parents sought opportunities for her to sing at local functions in the community and at First Baptist Church of Palm Coast. While in high school Kassy received many awards in vocal competitions including the opportunity to work with Orlando Opera Company Vocal Institute. Kassy graduated from University of Central Florida with a bachelor's degree in Music Performance. Kassy has been able to travel and perform in leading roles at Carnegie Hall, National Opera Center, and New York Lyric Opera Company. Along with the aforementioned singing opportunities, Kassy has traveled abroad to perform in South Africa on a tour with the University of North Florida, wherein she had the opportunity to sing with Mandela University and she also performed in a lead role in the production of Madame Butterfly with Varna International Opera Company in Bulgaria. She has several Operatic performances upcoming wherein she is a lead character and/or has a leading role.

To say she enjoys performing is an understatement. Kassy had the prestigious honor of making her debut in Stella Sung's modern-day opera "The River." She had the opportunity to perform in Giacomo Puccini's Suor Angelica with New York Lyric Opera, and she has performed in the chorus of Carmen and La Boheme with the Opera Orlando Company.

Bringing music to life with voice and piano is nothing short of a magical experience. Music is a language in and of itself, and being able to convey that message to her students of all ages has been a wonderful adventure for Kassy. Music is not only a universal language, it is also a form of healing and laughter. Most importantly, it bridges age gaps and language barriers. That is why Kassy is so passionate about teaching!

Aside from music, Kassy enjoys assembling vintage fashion pieces. At heart, she is a stylist. Other interests include collecting coins from every country she's visited and learning languages like Italian, German, Creole French, and Portuguese. All of this has allowed her to connect with people from various backgrounds and with different stories.
