About Julie Monley

Julie has had an international performing career working in America, London, and France.

Julie has performed in many clubs and resort towns, notably with guitarist Dylan Fowler and band leader Tony Crombie. Denver Colorado, five years in the Brazilian bands "Bridges" and "So Danco Samba" with Peruvian guitarist Manuel Molina. 1986 Julie moved to Paris France where she lived and worked in Parisian Jazz clubs (Duc de Lombard, Petit Journal Montparnasse, Le Sunset).

1987 Julie received the "Best Vocalist Price" at The Jazz Festival de Vienne. In 1995 Julie received the second price at "Tremplin Jazz du Val d'Oise." An international competition that included over 185 professional and semi-professional groups from throughout Europe.

Julie received her Bachelor of Arts in music/vocal emphasis, Including; choral conducting, piano levels I-IV, and vocal performance. She also has a minor in French.

She now resides in Denver where she performs regularly on the Denver jazz circuit, notably every Sunday morning at Dazzle jazz Club for "The Urban Brunch". She loves teaching students and passing on her love for music to them!
