About Jocelyn Hollins
Jocelyn Hollins was born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland. In 1996, she received a Bachelor of Science in Music Education at Frostburg State University, and her main instrument of study was the piano. She continues teaching piano lessons to students of all ages and believes that piano study is a great source of joy and fulfillment in life. She understands the challenges associated with learning piano, and encourages learning through patience, perseverance, and bringing excitement into lessons.
Jocelyn customizes the lessons experience with age appropriate methods to help students build constructive practice techniques and learn important musical fundamentals.
Her philosophy is based on the idea that learning a musical instrument is a practice that remains rewarding for a lifetime. Jocelyn continues to encourage and motivate students to achieve their goals through working with Lessons In Your Home.
