About Jackson Hardman

Jackson Hardman, a violinist and violin teacher is a Houston, Texas born native. He received his Bachelor's Degree in Music Education from the University of Texas at Arlington studying under Dr. Martha Walvoord. Jackson started playing the violin at the age of 9 years old and dedicates his life to music making around the DFW/Houston Area. He has participated and held principal positions for the Mansfield Philharmonic Orchestra as well as the UTA Symphony Orchestra. During his time at the UTA, he became a recipient of the T.A.M.S Music Scholarship sponsored by the Clara Nelson Foundation. Jackson has also had the opportunity in Joining the Allen I.S.D District as a Student Teacher, helping and guiding students from elementary to high school under the guidance of Joanna DeVoto and Ellen Townley

Music speaks a language without words, conveying enough to stir uncontrollable emotions. Other than inspiring and motivating the young adolescence, Jackson spends his time enjoying classical literature, bodily fitness, reading, sports, and gaming. Without the joy of exploring ones own enjoyments, music would be tasteless.

As a music educator , Mr Hardman aspires to show meaning and joy within music through his instruction.
