About Jackeline Ovalle

Jackeline Ovalle is a Vocal Performance student at Houston Baptist University (c/o 2018). She has been singing in choirs and performing as a soloist since she was 8 years old.

Jackeline started formal piano lessons when she was 16 and studied piano pedagogy in college in addition to her vocal training.

Jackeline has performed in world premiers of choral works at San Jacinto Community College, and has performed in choirs alongside the Houston Symphony, the Houston Civic Symphony, and the Pasadena Philharmonic. She has studied Choral Conducting at the Westminster Choir College in the Continuing Education Program in Princeton, NJ.

Jackeline believes that music making is a life-long journey and that the love for music is what fuels musicianship. She enjoys challenging her students to be the best musicians that they can be, and enjoys affirming them every step of the way.
