About George Martin
George Martin is a seasoned Pro Pianist and teacher spanning over 50 years of study and performing. George's passion for piano began at age 5 seeing his other (his greatest fan) taking lessons, he was immediately drawn to the piano. His mothers teacher was retired faculty of Julliard that auditioned pianist for acceptance. She soon discovered a child prodigy, something she told his mother she had waited for her whole life, and affectionately nicknamed him her "Little Paderewski".
George has relentlessly pursued a passion and excellence in piano which is obvious for anyone hearing him perform. George also loves sharing his passion for piano and music of all styles with his students. George understands that not all students learn the same way and is sensitive to students learning styles. George utilizes methods that steer students to uncover and discover their own abilities and creative ideas which makes learning music fun and exciting.
