About Danielle Angeloni
Danielle Angeloni is a Washington, D.C. area music instructor, accompanist, and soloist who is native to Carroll County, MD. In addition to teaching, she is very active with piano collaboration for students of Shenandoah Conservatory in Winchester, VA.
In 2018 Danielle completed her Bachelor's Degree in Vocal Performance and General Music Education from Towson University in Maryland. In 2020 she received her Master's Degree in Collaborative Piano Performance from Shenandoah Conservatory. Though Danielle is a certified and licensed K-12 music instructor for the State of Maryland, she finds her greatest passion is teaching private voice and piano students.
Past teaching experiences have equipped Danielle to teach a wide variety of musical subjects, including marching band mallet percussion, public school choir, class piano, high school level Music Theory, elementary General Music, and of course, private piano and voice lessons. Her teaching philosophy focuses first on establishing connection and enjoyment for the student, as she believes this leads to the student's personal enrichment. Her secondary priority is integrating music theory into lessons from the beginning to develop an understanding of the fundamentals of music making. Danielle is versed in teaching all musical genres -- pop, jazz, rock, classical, musical theater, and more!
With voice students, Danielle's methodology adapts to the needs of each singer's instrument on a personalized level. As part of her curriculum and approach, she helps students sharpen skills in ear training, music reading, and artistic expression. Voice students also learn how to properly care for their instrument through correct posture, breath support, appropriate repertoire, and healthy techniques for practicing/performing.
Outside of teaching music lessons and accompanying local professional musicians, Danielle enjoys running, traveling (especially internationally), exploring culinary arts from around the world, and anything to do with her adorable pet husky, Goose.
