About Daniela Popa
Daniela Popa just recently moved to Colorado from Bucharest, Romania, this year. She graduated from the National University of Music in Bucharest in 2005 with a degree in Musicology, Composition and Music Pedagogy. For 17 years, she has been teaching violin and piano at one of the best music schools in Bucharest, achieving the highest teaching certification for a Romanian teacher. She has also enjoyed teaching private lessons ever since.
Daniela has been teaching private lessons in both violin and piano for many years. Her students have participated in national and international festivals, contests, concerts and have been rewarded many great results over the years (for example, the "Merci Maestro" piano contest in Brussels, Belgium).
Daniela is an experienced, passionate and result oriented music teacher, willing to bring the best of her knowledge, technique, method, and energy to students wishing to start a new journey. Daniela is excited to be able to provide a different, enriching experience for students and as teacher, is always willing to broaden her horizons, searching for new challenges and achievements.
Daniela is also a choir professional, for 20+ years being a member in one of the best mixed ensembles in Romania, winning several prizes in national and international contests and festivals in Romania and all over Europe.
Daniela is happy to become a part of the Lessons In Your Home teaching staff, and is looking forward to meeting and teaching you, to discovering together the amazing ways and language of music here, in Denver!
