About Daniel Torres
Daniel Torres is a career musician (bassist, guitarist, music production) born and raised in Bridgeport, CT. He attended Berklee college of music and studied music business and performance. For the past 10 years he has worked as a freelance musician and studio engineer in New York City. Daniel has experience performing small jazz gigs in restaurants, to wedding bands, and touring large theaters with American and Latin American artists. In 2019 he toured with Latin Grammy winner for best new artist Nella. He also has done theatre work on guitar and bass, most recently in Connecticut, in a production of the musical "Once". He comes from a family of musicians - he plays with his father and brother in a band called Torres Trio. Now living in Orlando, FL, he plays weekly at the church Kingdom Culture.
Coming from a family of musicians taught him to value the life lessons that come from learning and playing music and how amazing it can be getting to learn and play with your family. With experience in private lessons and in the classroom setting, he's learned many different ways of teaching both children and adults how to read music and to jam and have fun. Music is a language and is for anyone and everyone willing to learn and have fun with it.
