About Cybil Bonhomme
Cybil Bonhomme was born and raised in Miami, FL. She started playing the piano at the age of four and was a concert pianist for 15 years. She won 1st place (at her very first piano competition) at the age of five at the Youth Fair performing Sonatina in F by Beethoven. She competed both regionally and nationally and underwent several Piano Guild performances at the University of Miami placing 1st place 4 years in a row for solo, duet and duo playing.
Cybil Bonhomme has a deep admiration for Chopin, Rachmaninoff and Clayderman. She picked up the violin at the age of six and became apart of the Greater Miami Youth Symphony by the age of nine. She was a part of Honours for five years and placed second chair for two years.
Cybil always had a love for the sciences and obtained a Bachelor's in Pre-Med, Chemistry at Barry University and minored in music. She then went on to pursue a Master's degree in Public Health at the University of Gainsville.
Regardless of whether she is performing, competing or dabbling in science, Cybil always finds the time to teach and spread the joy of music!
