About Benjamin Slavich
Ben Slavich is a passionate guitar teacher based out of Denver, CO. He started his musical journey in band percussion throughout grade school. Eventually, he set aside the xylophone for guitar in 2001. He then studied under the tutelage of Jeff Laquatre and Alex Commodore at Metropolitan State University. His guitar experiences range from classical and spanish to rock and pop. Some of ben's favorite bands to cover are The Beatles, Led Zeppelin, and Estas Tonne.
Ben was inspired to learn classical music by his uncle, Richard, who recently retired from a prolific career teaching Cello at Denver University. Ben has played with many local bands all over town performing covers as well as his own compositions for many years. He feels most at home in the recording studio, where the creativity really flows. He has always had a thirst to learn all types of music, even diving into music as a means for meditation and healing.
In lessons, his goal is to transfer enthusiasm and knowledge to the students, the benefits of which can be truly great. With Ben, one can expect fun, stress-free, and goal oriented lessons, with the students' aspirations in the front seat.
