About Ben Afallouss
Ben Jemaa Afallouss is an aspiring young musician and multi-instrumentalist based in Bellevue, WA. From an early age he has taken an interest in music and started pursuing guitar playing at the age of 10. Ben joined his first band Morrow as a vocalist in high school, a progressive black metal band and has been playing in bands ever since.
Currently Ben is fronting a 4-piece psych-rock band named Faith in Strangers as a guitar player, and he is also playing bass in Castoff, a punk/shoegaze band. Most recently, Ben has studied Music in World Cultures, Music Theory and Audio Technology at Shoreline Community College and Bellevue College. Although he takes a lot of pride in the experimental, and more underground genres of music, his time in education and with teaching students has given Ben an understanding of pop and rock structures and how students can learn songs quickly!
Ben has equal proficiency on both guitar and bass, and whether it's jazz, rock, metal or blues he is excited to teach it to you and start you on your musical journey!
