About Aviva Browning
Aviva is a violinist by choice and a teacher by trade. She first began learning the violin in 4th grade at her elementary school, and has continued the pursuit of music every since. In addition to the regular school orchestra, Aviva performed in solo contests, chamber groups and youth symphonies in Olympia, Washington, and the collegiate ensemble at Lewis & Clark College in Portland, Oregon.
Currently, Aviva is in school to earn her Master's in Teaching for Elementary Education at the University of Washington, as part of the Seattle Teacher Residency. She is a passionate educator who believes strongly in the brilliance and uniqueness of all her students. She is an advocate for the validity of all learning styles, and focuses on building positive relationships with students to uncover their learning preferences.
In her spare time, Aviva will undoubtedly be doing something outside, be it hiking, backpacking, running, mountain biking, skiing, or some other active option. She loves to explore her home state of Washington every chance she gets.
