About Arnaud Renard

A native from Le Mans, France, Arnaud Renard began to play guitar at the age of 6 on one of his father's guitar that he brought back from a trip to Spain. He studied music in private schools and conservatories of music from the age of 9. He also learned piano from an early age.
He received his first degree from University François Rabelais in France, and then a Bachelor's of Music. Then, he received a Master's of Sciences Education.
Virtuoso guitarist Arnaud has worked on four continents: Europe, Africa, USA, and Asia. He taught music at the Mermoz International High School in Ivory Coast, then he taught music at prestigious schools such as the famous tri-langage School Oasis of Maadi of Cairo in Egypt where he received an award of excellence for his work.
He then worked at the French International School of Bangkok in Thailand where he executed many musical projects. He also coached a dozen rock band and worked with studios for the production of two albums.
In 2015, he joined the Awty International School as a music teacher. Awty is the largest international day school in the USA. It is recognized as one of the top three Best Private Schools in the Houston area.
His repertoire consists of classical music of the great composers Agustín Barrios Mangore, Heitor Villa-Lobos, Francisco Tarrega, and others. His repertoire also included flamenco music solos of the great composers like Vicente Amigo and Paco de Lucia.
Based in the Houston area, Arnaud spends most of his time teaching and composing.
Arnaud currently plays on a Bendicht Tschannen Guitar made in the USA.
