About Angelo Mincey
Angelo C. Mincey is pursuing a Bachelor's in Music at Sam Houston State University, with an emphasis with Piano Performance, and graduates in 2023. His instructor is Dr. Diego Caetano, who continues to perform in Brazil, Germany, NYC, and has received top prizes in more than fifty national and international piano competitions. Angelo is a semi-finalist for the 2021 SHSU Concerto Competition.
Prior to SHSU, Angelo received an Associate's in Music from Amarillo College, studying under Dr. Bruce Lin. While at Amarillo College, he was selected as an Honor Student and Outstanding Student for the Music Department. Angelo has performed across Texas and is performing in Spain and Italy in 2022. After receiving his Bachelor's Degree, he will continue his education with a Master's in Collaborative Piano. He is excited to further his experience as a musician by teaching new Piano students how to love music as much as him.
