About Amy Sullivan
Amy Sullivan has been studying piano since age 6, viola since age 8, and singing since she first discovered the magic of music as a young child. Studying with various teachers both privately and in masterclasses from around the world (Germany, Russia, Norway, etc.), she cultivated her abilities through careful study, practice, and great passion. Amy has been teaching in private schools in Orlando for four years, and specializes in theatre, choir, a cappella performance, and music theory courses in the school system. Her experience is truly worldwide- she has performed in four different countries and several states on the piano, viola, violin, voice, cello, upright bass, bass guitar, percussion, and guitar. Amy proudly received her B.A.H. from Rollins College in 2016, and during her tenure performed on piano, viola, violin, percussion, and voice while studing piano and voice privately. Prior to college, she performed with the Reading Symphony Youth Orchestra (viola) for 4 years, participated in Elizabethtown College's Summer Music Camp on full scholarship for 5 years (piano, viola, voice), and ran the summer music program at Harmonyville Christian Day Camp in Pennsylvania for 4 years for children aged 4-12. She also competed in county, district, and regional orchestras on piano, viola, and cello throughout high school, where she accompanied her choir in eleven concerts over four years. She has a special passion for classical, folk, and broadway music and when not teaching, enjoys singing showtunes with her husband.
