About Amy Kouyeas

Pianist, organist, and singer Amy Riffle-Kouyeas has made numerous appearances throughout the east coast and mid-west. Favorites include: Frostburg State University, University of Maryland (Baltimore), Winthrop University, The Maryland Theatre, Shepherd University, Potomac State College, West Virginia University, Mount Union College, Porthouse Theatre, Kent State University, Taylor University, Muncie Civic Theatre, Windsor Hall and Jay County Civic Theatre. As a musician, Amy is as comfortable in the classical world as she is in musical theatre, jazz standards, and pop. Most recently, Amy was the Director of Music at Mountain View United Methodist Church in Kingsport, Tennessee, where she led and directed both traditional and contemporary services.

In high demand as a teacher, Amy's students have been recognized by numerous venues and events such as the Maryland AllState Choir, the Jack Kent Cooke Scholarship Program at Johns Hopkins, Nelson Ledges, the Cleveland Solo and Ensemble Festival and more.

Amy RIffle-Kouyeas holds degrees from Both Frostburg State University and West Virginia University. Teachers include Joan DeVee Dixon, Connie ArrauSturm, and Christine Kefferstan.
