About Alana Stricker
Alana Stricker has found an outlet for her passion for music through singing, teaching, and playing the piano. Alana began her music studies at the age of 4 and continued her studies throughout college, where she studied piano performance and minored in songwriting.
Alana attended Southern Methodist University in Texas, where she obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Piano Performance. Throughout her college career she participated in chamber ensembles and choir in addition to her solo piano studies. Alana also uses songwriting as a way to express herself and wrote an array of pop songs as part of her songwriting minor.
Ms. Stricker considers herself equal parts singer and pianist as she loves both and is quite accomplished in each field. She has participated in piano masterclasses with world-renowned pianist Joaquin Achucarro and studied voice with Seraphic Fire member Catherine Bennett.
In addition to singing, songwriting, and performing, Alana is passionate about teaching. Nothing is more rewarding to her than seeing a student who is enthusiastic about lessons because they are aware of their own progress.
Alana loves children and wants them to experience the appreciation for music. She teaches piano and voice to students of all levels and ages and hopes to meet you and help you or your child grow into the musician they want to become!
