About Ric Hobscheid
Ric Hobscheid, born and raised in the northwest suburbs of Chicago, Illinois., is an avid life-long drummer. Beginning in 4th grade, Ric has taken percussion lessons throughout elementary school, high school, and college. Ric has been passionate about drumming since first hearing KISS's Peter Criss drum solo on Kiss Alive!!!
Ric has taught all ages ranging from very young kids to adults. He also teaches piano and guitar!
Having taught private lessons in Chicago, Ric understands all people are unique and learn through different modalities. Some being more visually focused, learn best through printed text. Other's who learn aurally, can mimic drumming concepts being taught by playing along with the instructor. Other's learn optimally through a more kinesthetic approach. Ric seeks to identify a student's learning orientation, and teach to that method.
Ric performs country/western, 50's/60's music to senior adults at nursing homes, retirement communities, ad assisted living centers throughout Dallas-Fort Worth, Texas.
