About Maria Araujo
Maria Araujo, Music Educator, Pianist, Conductor & Vocal coach, BM in Piano Performance, New York University and a MM, with distinction, Westminster Choir College of Ryder University. Maria is Choral Conductor for the Miami Music Project, Principal Examiner for the IB Music Program and a music programs director, pianist, conductor and educator with over 15 years of experience as performer, conductor and educator, teaching piano, voice, music theory & history, conducting/ interpreting, composition and appreciation. She is versed in classical and contemporary idioms with experience in a wide range of music genres and learning approaches. Maria enjoys supporting students in the exploration of their musical interests while opening new ones. Her primary goal as educator is to fuel her students musical understanding, and to empower their creative thinking and performing abilities, expanding their access to the joy and wonders of music.
