About Luke Story
Luke Story, a Native to Colorado, has been around his music for his entire life. After graduating from Littleton High School in 2008, Luke attended both Boise State University and Metropolitan State University of Denver studying Music education. Luke played trumpet for the Blue Knights Drum and Bugle Corps for 2008, 2010, & 2011 and was a featured soloist for the 2011 season. Then for 2012, 2015, & 2016, Luke worked as an administrative assistant for the Blue Knights for their summer tour.
Luke is currently in his 5th year as the brass and visual instructor for Bear Creek High School in Lakewood, Colorado. When not teaching, Luke travels the state, country, and world playing music. From corporate private parties where he works as a Dueling Piano Player, to venues in Denver where he plays Tenor saxophone and Trumpet with his 7-piece Funk-Rock Band, "Float Like a Buffalo." Luke is very excited to be apart of the Lessons in Your Home Family.
