About Jamelyn Marcotte
Jamelyn (Jami) began taking piano lessons at age 3 at the College of Charleston in South Carolina. She continued with piano lessons until age 10, when she also began playing guitar, bass and drums. She has been a nationally touring dueling piano player for the past 12 years and also leads the piano sing along at Charlie Browns in Denver, CO two nights a week.
Jami has taught lessons in piano, guitar, bass, ukelele and drums in SC and CO for 15 years. She is very patient with students and understands the value of helping the student really enjoy their instrument without frustration. She gladly instructs students of all ages, but it also open to very young students.
