About Connor Rilling

Ever since he started playing violin at 6 years old, Connor has had a passion for improving and exploring the many wonders that music has to offer. Connor earned his education from Berklee College of Music in Boston, Massachusetts and Central Washington University in WA state.

His instruction involved numerous instances of symphonic performances and small chamber ensemble/quartet performances, as well as performances of solo violin repertoire by composers such as Tchaikovsky, Sibelius, Mendelssohn, Mozart, Dvorak and more. It also led him to collaborate with renowned violin professors Teo Tetel, Carrie Rehkopf, Mimi Rabson, and Kathryn Votapek.

Connor believes that music can lead people to discover more about themselves. Learning and perfecting one's instrumental abilities can be challenging. Connor is here to make sure that the learning process is as easy as possible because his student deserves the best. Connor's time spent on the violin has led him to performances at the Kennedy Center in Washington D.C. , Benaroya Hall, and a string of performances at Music&More Summerfest in Trebinje, Bosnia Herzegovinia. Connor is the "go-to guy" on anything regarding classical violin. He understands the music inside and out and is focused on sharing his experience and technical understanding with his students.

His passion for classical music led him to take up piano as a teenager, focused on analyzing scores and improving his music theory knowledge. He was taught Piano at Central Washington University by Dr. Maria Wibe and Barbara Pickett. No matter if you are a beginner, intermediate, or advanced, Connor can help you progress violin and piano in a steady and joyful manner.
