About Cinnamon Dove
Cinnamon Dove has always had a love and passion for music. She attended Florida State University and majored in Music Education with an emphasis in voice. While there, she was a member of the University Singers, the Brazilian Samba group, and performed in various operas
such as "Rigoletto", and "Hansel and Gretel". After graduation, she moved to Houston, Texas and took a job teaching elementary music. She took her 5th/6th grade choir to the Houston Children's Music Festival where they won best choreography 3 years in a row. She also
had the honor of directing the Aldine ISD Honor Choir for many years. Under her direction, they were chosen to perform for the 2007 Hear the Future Concert with the Houston Chamber Choir, and in 2009, theTMEA music convention in San Antonio.
In addition to working with young singers, she has taught piano lessons for many years in her home. She has enjoyed many opportunities to be a judge for choir festivals. She also loves to work as a clinician for choirs in order to help develop their sound, as well as choreography. Her family relocated to Lake Mary, Florida where she actively participates in her church choir. She is married with three great children, that keep her busy and active!
