About Andrew Klein
Andrew Klein is a guitarist, singer-songwriter from Atlanta, GA. His passion for music began at an early age when he taught himself to play the guitar. At fifteen Andrew began forming rock, folk, country and experimental bands with friends and strived to sound unique and different in his songwriting and performances. Studying classic artists such as The Beatles, Bob Dylan, Johnny Cash, Neil Young, Pink Floyd, and Jimi Hendrix has given Andrew a love for creating psychedelic americana music. Andrew attended The University of Tampa in 2005 where he furthered his music education and started his professional career as a musician. Upon moving back to Georgia in 2009 Andrew continued writing, recording, and performing guitar, bass, and banjo with several groups in Athens and Atlanta, GA. He has toured throughout the Southeastern United States playing festivals and supporting big name artists including Patterson Hood (Drive By Truckers), Perpetual Groove, Lera Lynn, and Packway Handle Band. In addition to his own music Andrew performs cover shows, writes music for films, is a live sound and recording engineer, and has taught guitar for over eight years. His goal as a music instructor is to find what his students love about music and focus it to help them grow into the most unique and confident musician they can be.
